For KENSINGTON PRESENTS: AYS + Børns, we worked as the musical go-between between American Youth Symphony and pop artist Børns. This one-night-only sold out concert happened at the LA State Historic Park and featured a chamber orchestra of 14 players plus Børns and his band. We re-imagined his dreamy indie pop sound for strings, horn, woodwinds and percussion with original orchestrations by our music team.

The night’s program also included works by a selection of artists ranging from Philip Glass and St. Vincent to Stravinsky, David Byrne, Radiohead, and Roy Orbison. It was a true fusion of styles and well-received by an eager and diverse crowd.
